Training and Advice

We are able to provide training to professionals and volunteers and community groups on a range of issues related to migration – all aiming to increase knowledge and understanding of the challenges migrants face and the benefits their active involvement in our local community can bring. This includes a ‘basic immigration awareness’ session and workshops and training sessions planned and run by people with lived experience of the issues addressed.

For our NRPF (No Recourse to Public Funds) awareness workshop in February 2021 we had over 90 participants joining us on ZOOM. It was led by our community leaders with lived experience because we believe that they are the real experts and their voices should be at the heart to find solutions. Find out more about our advocacy work in our recent Learning from Lived Experience report on NRPF.
